IWA 2015 offentliggjorde Kriss/Krytac att de höll på att utveckla en AEG-version av Kriss Vector GEN II och på SHOT Show 2016 visade de upp en prototyp.

På själva mässan SHOT Show 2016 har Kriss inga airsoftvapen (Krytac) att visa upp i sin monter utan bjöd istället in alla intresserade till ”upplevelseskjutbanan” Machine Gun Vegas och visade upp airsoftprodukter där och då bland annat prototypen av Krytac Kriss Vector GEN II.

Sedan visade de även upp nya Krytac-modeller och läs pressmeddelandet längre ner.

De som ville kunde även provskjuta riktiga Kriss Vector GEN II 9mm.

KRYTAC showcases the KRISS Vector AEG prototype, Alpha Series, and Trident MK2 Series.
January 20, 2016 – Brea, California, USA – KRYTAC, the cutting edge design and development team of the Switzerland based KRISS Group, demonstrates the highly anticipated KRISS Vector AEG prototype for the first time to a select audience during an exclusive KRISS USA New Products Demonstration. Also revealed for 2016 is KRYTAC’s new entry level AEG, the Alpha Series, as well as the Trident MK2.

KRISS USA revealed the KRYTAC KRISS Vector AEG to a select audience during an exclusive KRISS USA product demonstration in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Vector AEG is a 1:1 scale representation of the KRISS Vector GEN II SMG firearm and is powered by a 11.1v lithium polymer battery that is stored in the pistol grip. Internally the Vector AEG features the famous KRYTAC rotary hop up as well as select version 2 compression components. Pricing and availability for the KRYTAC KRISS Vector AEG will be available later this year.
KRYTAC has also introduced two new entry level AEGs, the Alpha SDP and the Alpha CRB. The Alpha SDP features a 5” smooth hand guard, a compact carbine stock, and a retail price of $255. The Alpha CRB features a 10.5” barrel, 9” Alpha rail, KRYTAC battery stock, and a retail price of $275. The Alpha series performance is targeted for one joule and is slated for release in Q2, 2016.

Also new this year is the Trident MK2 series of premium performance AEGs. The Trident MK2 sports a billet style receiver, a spring decompression mechanism and will be available in three configurations and three color options; black, flat dark earth, and foliage green. The Trident MK2 PDW features a 5.5” barrel, 5” keymod rail, compact carbine stock, and a retail price of $305. The Trident MK2 CRB features a 10.5” barrel, 10” keymond hand guard, KRYTAC battery stock, and a retail price of $345. Finally, the Trident MK2 SPR features a 16” barrel, 13” keymod rail, KRYTAC battery stock, and a retail price of $355. The Trident MK2 is slated for release in Q2, 2016
