Tillverkaren Krytac i USA har skickat in sitt senaste pressmeddelande om att deras nya serie Alpha kommer skickas ut till auktoriserade Krytac-butiker i slutet av maj.
Alpha-serien och fler nya produkter från Krytac presenterades på SHOT Show 2016.

New KRYTAC Alpha Series slated for May 2016 release.
April 21, 2016 – Brea, California, USA – KRISS USA announces the release of the KRYTAC Alpha Series, a new line of full metal M4 entry-level AEGs. The Alpha series will start shipping worldwide to authorized KRYTAC resellers by the end of May 2016 with a starting retail price of $255.

The result is a full metal AEG, with very robust internals, starting in the mid-200’s price range.” states KRISS USA’s Marketing Manager, Tim Seargeant. ”The Alpha series features a 3034 MOSFET, 18:1 ratio gears, reinforced piston, padded cylinder head, ball bearing spring guide, and rotary hop up system. With a one joule muzzle energy and high performance components, the Alpha series is the perfect platform for those seeking an AEG with long term reliability, or as the foundation for a custom upgraded AEG.”
The KRYTAC Alpha Series features two models. The KRYTAC Alpha SDP is a compact M4 AEG with a 5.5″ barrel and smooth hand guard. At the rear, a two-position adjustable compact carbine stock with enlarged buffer, which easily accommodates an 11.1v 1000mAh lithium polymer miniature stick battery. The KRYTAC Alpha CRB is a short-barreled rifle M4 with a 10.5″ barrel and 9″ modular rail hand guard. The Alpha hand guard’s modular system utilizes rail sections that are threaded directly to the hand guard. The Alpha SDP will feature a suggested retail price of $255, while the Alpha CRB will be set at $275.

Flera har säkert hört talas om lagförslaget SB199 i Kalifornien som klubbades igenom 2014 och idag den 1:a januari 2016 började lagen att gälla. Även ny lagstiftning i delstaten New York trädde i kraft.
Sedan tidigare måste airsoftvapen i USA ha en orange markering kring pipan/flamdämparen men nu krävs att airsoftvapen i Kalifornien respektive New York blir mer orangefärgade. Butiken Gorilla Airsoft har blivit intervjuade i TV.
Valken Airsoft har via sina återförsäljare börjat sälja orange tejp och har gjort ett informationsmaterial om hur berörda airsoftare ska tejpa sina airsoftvapen. Fler airsoftföretag i USA kommer informera om detta efter helgen.
Det återstår att se om ändringen av lagstiftningen får det resultat som lagstiftarna hoppas på.
Svenska airsoftaren Rikard Sjöström var gäst i Airsoft GIs International LIVE SHOW natten till onsdag (14:e oktober).
Tillsammans med programledaren ”Bob the Ax Man” pratar de bland annat om airsoft i Europa, airsoftbanor i Sverige, olika airsoftprodukter (bland annat GK5C), Hemvärnet, M90-kamouflaget och Rikards airsoftutrustning.
Rikard har under flera år spenderat mycket tid på airsoftbanor i USA och är därför ganska välkänd därborta.
