The magazine pouch is made of olive green 1000D Cordura fabric with a flap that is attached with velcro. The flap to the magazine pouch is because of that exchangeable and the manufacturer have some more common flaps as is optional.

The included flap can be modified to what the manufacturer call Airborne flap and Combat Flap.

From the left. From the right. For both solutions the elastic cord with the cord lock is needed so the magazines will be hold tight. But for the Airborne flap the paracord is also needed.

Field test

The magazine pouch is easy to attach in a MOLLE interface and it fit good. This also fit belt 45 mm wide good. We have tested M4/M16 magazines.

The KDL magazine pouch attached.

The magazine pouch with included flap can be used in Airborne Flap and Combat flap mode and both have their benefits.

The bottom in the magazine pouch have no drain hole so if water will come in inside it will take a while before it disappears. But later batches the manufacturer have added a drain hole.

There is no instruction manual included with instructions how to change between the both modes so you have to watch for example the manufacturer’s pictures and their video below.

Conclusion

By tested the Airborne flap and Combat flap modes we prefer the first, Airborne flap.

Most magazine pouches on the market holds their magazines only with help of a flap and if it is open there is a risk that they fall out by mistake. But because of the manufacturer’s innovative solution the magazines will be hold although shakes and angles the magazines exposes to, regardless with one or two magazines inside.

Because that there is no instruction manual, the work to change modes it’s neccessary to carefully watch the manufacturer’s pictures and their video to get the pouch complete functional.

Are you looking for a magazine pouch for holding two magazines this is a very good choice.
